Delete Your Account and Data
Last updated: September 2026
This page explains how to ask THREAT‑WATCH (developer: Konstantinos Chatzistavrou, trading as THREAT‑WATCH) to delete your user account for the THREAT‑WATCH client dashboard and Android app, or to delete some of your personal data while keeping the account. You don't need the app installed to make a request.
1. How to request deletion
- Fill in the form on this page using the email address linked to your account, or email info@threat-watch.com from that address with the subject "Data deletion request".
- We reply from info@threat-watch.com to confirm the request came from you. Nothing is deleted until you confirm, so nobody else can close your account.
- Once confirmed, we delete the data described below and email you when it's done.
2. What gets deleted
When you ask us to delete your account, we permanently delete:
- Your user account and sign-in credentials for the dashboard and the Android app.
- Your profile details, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
- Your settings and preferences in the dashboard and the app.
- Personal data in messages and requests you sent us, unless it falls under section 3.
3. What we keep, and for how long
Some records can't be deleted straight away, either because the law requires us to keep them or because they belong to your organization rather than to you personally:
- Invoices and accounting records where you are the billing contact, kept for the period required by Greek tax law.
- Security events, alerts, and incident records for your organization's environment. These are your organization's data under its service agreement with us, so they are kept or deleted as that agreement sets out. Where such a record names you, the reference is kept only as long as the agreement requires.
- Records we need to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, kept only until those claims are time-barred.
- Copies in encrypted backups, which are removed automatically as the backups rotate out on their normal schedule and are never restored for any other purpose.
4. Deleting some data without closing your account
You can ask us to delete specific personal data and keep your account. Choose "Delete specific data only" in the form and tell us what to remove. If something can't be removed without breaking the service, we'll explain why.
5. How long it takes
We complete confirmed requests within 30 days of receiving them, as the GDPR requires. If a request is unusually complex we'll tell you why and when to expect it.
6. Questions and complaints
Email info@threat-watch.com with any question about your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr). See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle personal data.
